KSBL Executive Education Services conducted the programme on Financial Acumen for Non-Financial Executives from February 19 – 21, 2013. The three day programme was designed to bring in best practices that help transform non-financial executives into more effective team members who can propose, analyse and evaluate financial decisions related to their functions.
The programme was well received by the participants. It was led by Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed who is an authority in the area of Finance & Accounting and co – facilitated by Dr. Ali Khalil Malik. The participants comprised of C-Suite Leaders and Emerging Leaders from renowned corporate entities like Aga Khan University Hospital, English Biscuit Manufacturers, Pakistan International Bulk Terminal, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, United Energy Pakistan Limited, Engro Corp, Engro Polymer, Lucky Cement, United Towel Exporters, United Bank Limited, and Fatima Fertilizer.
The programme’s objectives were to:
- Equip managers from non-financial background on how to interpret financial data to make financial decisions for their respective functions, business units or companies.
- Prepare participants to become effective team members, who can propose, analyse and evaluate financial decisions related to their functions.
- Enable participants to draw rich insights from raw accounting data and even more importantly, to develop an overall sense of financial factors critical to a profitable and stable business.
